Bethania is a Doctoral Student Clinician at Crystal Minds Psychological Services (CMPS). She is also a Doctoral Psychology Intern at the Goodman Psychological Services Center located in Albizu University (AU). She is seeking her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy. D.), with a concentration in children. Her Master of Science in Psychology (M.S.) degree was obtained at AU after she graduated from Florida International University with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013, with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Mrs. Carrión provides evidenced-based therapy and psychological assessments to children, adolescents, and adults in English and Spanish. Her professional experiences range from cognitive behavioral therapy, intensive behavioral therapy, and psychological assessments. Specifically, she has led social skills groups and individual therapy using ABA to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Bethania facilitates parent training which consists of psycho-education, in-vivo training, modeling, and feedback. Furthermore, Bethania has gained extensive knowledge in treating neurodevelopmental conditions, such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and ASD. Moreover, she has treated individuals with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, conduct disorders, trauma-related disorders, and psychotic disorders from childhood to adulthood.
