Motivational Interviewing "Behavior Therapists Guide for Parents"

The primary goal of this manual is to shape clinicians’ communication approach to foster a working alliance with parents, teachers and other professionals working in the field of behavior analysis. A Motivational Intervention (MI) approach will enhance the quality of treatments such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other disabilities since it will encourage greater parental involvement in sessions.
